| Description: | [English] The spread of theoretical treatises in Renaissance Europe has hardly been examined. The transmission of MSS and printed theoretical works is examined in the context of three French scholars of the 15th and 16th c.: Jean Charlier de Gerson, Jacobus Faber Stapulensis (Jacques Lefèvre d'Étaples), and Nicolaus Wollick. Contrary to previous beliefs, their works found a significant readership outside France (RILM 1997-13684) [German] Die Verbreitung musiktheoretischer Texte der Renaissance in Europa ist im Gegensatz zu anderen musikalischen Verbindungen bisher kaum untersucht worden. Die handschriftliche und gedruckte Überlieferung theoretischer Werke wird an Hand dreier französischer Autoren des 15. und 16. Jahrhunderts aufgezeigt : Jean Gerson, Lefèvre d'Étaples und Nicolaus Wollick. Es ist eine weitaus größere Rezeption ihrer Texte außerhalb Frankreichs festzustellen, als bisher angenommen wurde (RILM 1997-13684) ; Très peu étudiée jusqu'alors, la circulation des écrits théoriques français concernant la musique à la Renaissance est analysée en se limitant à un corpus restreint issu de l'espace culturel français : Jean Gerson, Lefèvre d'Étaples et Nicolaus Wollick. |
