Once the duke died nonetheless, his sister Elisabeth, countess of Württemberg, accused the doctor of mistreating Eberhard thus causing her brothers untimely death. Apart from depicting particular therapy methods of Dr. Widmann, this paper will give a closer insight into mediaeval medicine in general, ultimately disproving Elisabeth’s allegations in the course of the examination. |
