Title: Die Philosophie im Mittelalter
Author: L. Sturlese
Description: The book presents the development of philosophy over a timeframe that spans just less than one thousand years by examining the philosophical traditions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, and reconstructing the way philosophy developed in Hebrew, Arabic, Greek, Latin, Persian, Syriac and the many vernacular languages of Europe. The book also provides the story of how these different traditions interweaved with each other and discovers the importance of the philosophical periphery, highlighting the way that philosophical developments in the East and the West converged and related.
