Description	Einleitung zum Übersetzungsprojekt Die Historia Occidentalis Jakobs von Vitry (gest. 1240) stellt eine ungemein reiche und bekannte Quelle für die Geschichte der lateinischen Kirche im frühen 13. Jahrhundert aus der Sicht eines ihrer Vertreter dar.
