| Description | This essay is devoted to a set of mainly 13th- and 14th-century moralizing texts as well as to their inner structure (which is exemplified in the Appendix). The texts cited in this article are by John from St. Gimignano (Liber de exemplis et similitudinibus rerum) and by Corrado from Halberstadt (Liber similitudinum naturalium); while the Lumen anime is anonymous. The essay also examines works by Alessandro from Nequam, Bartolomeo Anglico and Tommaso da Cantimpré. ; Il saggio è dedicato a una serie di compilazioni di testi moraleggianti, per lo più duecentesche e prototrecentesche, e alla loro organizzazione interna (esemplificata in appendice). Quelle menzionate nel testo sono dovute a Giovanni da San Gimignano (Liber de exemplis et similitudinibus rerum) e a Corrado di Halberstadt (Liber similitudinum naturalium), mentre il Lumen anime è anonimo.
