| Description | Die literarische Luther-Produktion läuft seit mehr als einem Jahr auf vollen Touren – mit beeindruckenden Ergebnissen. Der Beitrag fragt nach der heutigen Sicht von Historikern, Kirchenhistorikern und Schriftstellern auf Martin Luther. Folgende Themen werden anhand von Literaturbeispielen behandelt: Luthers Wurzeln im Mittelalter – Herausragende Leistungen – Schätze der Reformation in Wort und Bild – Der besondere Zugang zu Luther – Luther-Kritik aus nachchristlicher Sicht – Luther und die Katholiken – Die Zukunft der Kirchen. This contribution is looking at the current view of Martin Luther by historians, church historians and literary authors.
