| Description | Handschriften des Mittelalters sind einmalige Kulturzeugnisse, die in historische Lebensbereiche führen, für die uns andere Quellen meist verlassen. Daher stehen sie seit langem im besonderen Fokus der Forschung und des allgemeinen Interesses. Wer aber meint, dass bereits alle Handschriften bekannt und alles über Handschriften bekannt ist, täuscht sich. Dies gilt insbesondere für Bestände in Institutionen abseits der großen wissenschaftlichen Bibliotheken. Hier warten noch viele kaum oder gar nicht bekannte Stücke auf ihre Entdeckung und Erforschung. | - |
