| Description | Session 3 : " Représentations environnementales et paysagères " ; International audience ; New approaches to landscape have emerged in art history during the last two decades, especially among the English-speaking literature. They consider not only a genre of painting, but also a range of cultural construction processes, examined according to their ideological implications. Two recent dissertations on Italy during the Renaissance analyse the relationships between landscape and strategies of identity affirmation, and thus open stimulating research perspectives. ; De nouvelles approches du paysage en histoire de l'art se sont affirmées dans les vingt dernières années, notamment dans la littérature anglophone. Elles ne considèrent plus seulement un genre pictural, mais des phénomènes de construction culturelle, interrogés notamment dans leurs dimensions idéologiques. Deux thèses récentes sur l'Italie à la Renaissance se proposent ainsi d'analyser les rapports entre paysage et stratégies d'affirmation identitaire des élites, ouvrant des pistes de recherche stimulantes. | - |
